Lisa Morris-Julian
Lisa Morris-Julian is a Trinidad and Tobago politician for the People's National Movement. She has served as a Member of Parliament in the House of Representatives for D'Abadie/O'Meara since the 2020 general election. She is also currently a Minister in the Ministry of Education. She was the mayor of Arima between 2016 and 2020.

Lisa's Achievements
Mausica Paving: In partnership with MOWT, the Main Road of Mausica was rehabilitated and repaved, ensuring smoother and safer travel for residents.
O'Meara Road Paving: Under her leadership, O'Meara Main Road is being rehabilitated, repaved and a roundabout will be introduced to improve traffic management and significantly improving the area's infrastructure.
D'Abadie/Malabar Public Pool: Lisa proudly inaugurated the D'Abadie Malabar public pool, providing a recreational oasis for the community.
Heron Court Houses: With the support of HDC, Heron Court Houses were completed.
Peytonville Bridge: The new Peytonville Bridge, a project championed by Lisa and Councillor for Carapo Derek La Guerre, was installed by the Tunapuna/Piarco Regional Corporation. The bridge has enhanced connectivity and eased the flow of traffic.
Lights at Croton Lane Recreation Ground: Thanks to Lisa's efforts, Croton Lane Recreation Ground was equipped with new floodlights, which improved visibility for sporting events and made the area safer and more accessible at night.
Arima Hindu School Tumpuna: Lisa celebrated the grand opening of the Arima Hindu School in Tumpuna.
Arima Central Secondary Sixth Form Block and Hall: This new sixth form block and hall at Arima Central Secondary was a pending project since Lisa was the Councillor for Arima Central. With the support of the Ministry of Education, she was finally able to see her dream come to fruition, expanding educational opportunities for senior students.
Malabar Government Primary: Under her guidance, the Malabar Government Primary School welcomed students to its upgraded facilities.
Food Bank Established: Lisa established the D'Abadie/O'Meara Constituency Food Bank, in tandem with the Cashew Tree Charity Foundation. This initiative is geared towards providing additional support to our constituents who are in need.

MP Lisa Morris-Julian, in collaboration with the Cashew Tree Charity Foundation hosted Easter in the East Bring Back De Ole Time Games and Kite Flying Competition at the Larry Gomes Stadium. The event was a huge success! Children and adults alike had a blast as they enjoyed nostalgic games, kite flying, eats and drinks. We definitely can't wait to you all again next year!
Lisa hosted a Mother's Day Tea A Touch of Pink, at the Malabar Phase IV Community Center. Mothers in attendance enjoying a lovely afternoon filled with live performances, eats, drinks and laughter. It was a great success and a wonderful way to celebrate the special mothers in our lives.
MP Morris-Julian, in collaboration with the Cashew Tree Charity Foundation and Councillor Shuquila Clarke for Cleaver/D'Abadie, hosted a successful Easter Egg Hunt for the children.With the children running around, collecting eggs, and giggling with
pure delight, there was an undeniable sense of happiness in the air. The event was packed with fun activities like face painting, a bouncy castle, musical chairs, and delicious treats and drinks.
MP Lisa Morris-Julian took a walk around the community, spreading joy and kindness by giving out goodie bags to the residents. The bags were filled with treats and small gifts, bringing smiles to the faces of those who received them. It was a heartwarming experience for everyone involved, and a reminder of the power of simple acts of kindness.
